Self-Defense
At TheDOJO Women and Men as well as Teenagers and Tweens learn self-defense and how to be to protect themselves from an attacker. Knowing how to avoid conflict by being aware of ones surroundings, knowing how not to be selected as a target, being street smart and knowing how to de-escalate a confrontation are also part of learning self-defense. Self-Defense also goes beyond a a man with a mask in a dark alley. The practice of healthy eating, exercise, a positive mental attitude, as well as having life insurance for you family, a last will and testament, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and fir extingushers are all common sense self-defense practices.
